Katha Kissman is a senior nonprofit governance consultant with more than 25 years of experience advising, training, and serving nonprofit organizations. As a senior governance consultant with BoardSource, she specializes in board effectiveness, compliance, fiscal management, fundraising, risk management, strategic planning, and leadership transitions, and has worked with a wide range of national and community-based organizations. She is also a published author on nonprofit governance and has served in executive and interim leadership roles, bringing both strategic and hands-on experience to board and organizational development work.
